5 Reasons to Love Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort isn't always the first choice of families headed down to Walt Disney World due to out of the way location and busy convention space. That's a pity though, because this Disney Resort gem has a lot to offer its guests! From the full service feeling at check in to the truly chic resort rooms, Disney's Coronado Spring truly holds its own. In no particular order, here's 5 great reasons to love this hotel!

RIX Nightclub Lounge
You can here the music pumping from the live DJ at the RIX Nightclub Thursday through Saturday. Let your hair down, and dance the night away at this club full of high-energy fun. The Digg Site
One of the more sumptuous pool areas at a Disney Resort the Digg Site transport guests to the native jungles. A huge and inviting pool sits beneath the Mayan-themed pyramid that holds the 123-foot-long jaguar water slide. This lush playground also features the largest bubbling spa on property so you can soak away all your worries. The Digg Site also features a sand volleyball court, Siestas pool bar, and play-space for the little ones.

La Vida Health Club & Spa
Keep fit and indulge in some pampering, because Coronado Springs is only one of Disney's Moderate Resorts featuring a full service health club, salon and spa. It's the perfect spot for a little "me time" in the middle of a busy schedule. The health club is closed for refurbishments, it's scheduled to reopen mid October 2015 so that shouldn't stop you from booking a future stay when it's all fresh and new. I can't wait to see what they do with it.

Club Level & Suites at a Moderate Price
Coronado Springs offers some fantastic Club Level rooms for a more affordable price than those at the deluxe resorts. Booking one of these well-appointed spaces includes access to the Coconino Lounge where guests will find a continental breakfast in the morning and snacks, beer and wine in the evening.

The Business Center
I do realize that the majority of people heading to WDW are going on vacation, but for people like me who frequently have to work from their hotel room, having a business center on site is a huge plus! The only Disney moderate resort to have such an offering, Coronado Springs is a top notch location for business travelers.

Definitely a great resort for couples. Beautiful surroundings, luxurious rooms, and a more adult feel. The pool area was well themed and more relaxing than other Disney resorts we've stayed at. Highly recommended!

I wanted to stay here for SO LONG...I finally did earlier this year in February and was very disappointed. It's a beautiful resort and the rooms are probably the nicest in the mod category, but they failed to deliver on too many other things here unfortunately. Caribbean Beach is still #1 in my heart for mods :)

Stayed at Coronado Springs last year just before Christmas and I would go back again in a heartbeat. The property appeared busy, but was never loud. The quality and upkeep of the rooms was amazing. Mousekeeping works harder here than anyplace else I have seen. Every castmember made Coronado Springs special. The fact that the resort is used for conventions is almost a bonus if you want quiet nights. I am sad to hear that the buffet breakfast at Pepper Market they had is gone. It was a great feature.

And one thing I always do is leave a tip for Mousekeeping every day. I know some people only tip at the end of their stay, but that may not be the same person who serviced your room for all of the other days. I don't know that the tip is the reason the room was always so perfect, but it didn't hurt.

We stayed there in June and liked it but there are a few disadvantages. They include main pool being a bit far from most rooms and that they do not have a traditional food court like other resorts.

Advantages include it is a central located resort to all parks and it is a more quiet resort which is good for adults. The rooms were nice. The buses to and from parks were not filled and pick up locations at parks were some of the first. It was one of our more favorite resorts.

We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge about 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved it! It was well worth it for a few dollars more. Use Disney discounts that you can find on the Disney reservations site.

It's so great to hear more good things about the Coronado Springs! It's such a pretty resort and has many deluxe features at a fraction of the price!

I was there 2weekd ago. Rooms are nice but hot tub did not work. Pool music and game time is so loud, you cannot have a conversation. Menu has been shortened at the Pepper Market and it is more of a food court.
