Another 5 Reasons To Love Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special hard ticket event at the Magic Kingdom. On select nights in November and December the Park closes early to the general public and guests with party tickets get the run of the Park. Most folks know that festive time is full of unique holiday shows, glittering fireworks, a wonderful parade, but that just scratches the surface of the fun. We're sharing another 5 reasons to love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Sandy Claws Meet and Greet

While you will find all of the Disney Characters dressed in their holiday best at the party, the E ticket photo stop is the The Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, dressed as "Sandy Claws." It's a special opportunity at Storybook Circus that you won't find at Walt Disney World anywhere besides Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Adorable Holiday Merchandise

In 2017 the exclusive party merchandise recalls holiday cards of the 1960s, with wrapped gifts, Mickey and the gang all dressed in their holiday finery. I'm particularly fond of the holiday sweater-style shirt featuring Clarabelle the Cow, and the exclusive trading pin set.

Exclusive Sorcerers Of The Magic Kingdom Cards

My family of gamers is always excited to take on a quest or two of this interactive attraction that sends players on an adventure through the Magic Kingdom Park battling villains. This year the exclusive collectible trading card being handed out at the party is "Rover's Christmas Carousel of Progress," featuring the trusty canine companion from Tomorrowland's Carousel of Progress. Stop in at the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A., to pick up complimentary key cards, spell cards and maps!

Cheerful Sweets And Holiday Treats

While there are basic sugar cookies and hot chocolate included in your party admission, foodies will flip over the delightful wintery treats being created by the Chefs of the Magic Kingdom. Restaurants around the Park will offer a sweet selection of desserts on the menu that would enchant Santa himself. Our favorite are the Mickey shaped holiday cinnamon roll, and egg nog custard cups topped with spiced chocolate cake and meringue - to name but two. If you travel on your stomach (as many Disney fans do) the exclusive treats available at the party will not disappoint. You can read about All the Treats at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party over at the Disney Food Blog.
