Autumn Brings Not-So-Scary Fun and Fairytale Princesses to the Magic Kingdom
Sure, summer is just beginning but it's never too early to think about fall at the Magic Kingdom, and this year promises to be a magical season.
Halloween Decorations on Main Street
No visit to the Magic Kingdom in the fall is complete without spending an evening at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This event starts September 10 and runs through November 1 on 23 select nights from 7 p.m. until 12 a.m.
Party goers not only have a chance to dress up in their favorite not-so-scary costumes, but they can enjoy the twice nightly Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade led by the Headless Horseman and be wowed by HalloWishes, the green and orange fireworks display complete with Disney Villains. And of course there's also the trick-or-treating throughout the park and the Disney Villains Dance Mix and Mingle.
Tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are on sale now. Ticket prices are $59 for ages 10 and up and $54 for ages 3-9. You can purchase tickets at the Walt Disney World resort website. Party dates in 2013 are: September 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, and 29; October 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29, & 31; and November 1.
Portrait Gallery ay Fairytale Hall
Also at the Magic Kingdom this fall the Princess Fairytale Hall is slated to open in New Fantasyland. This is the new home for Disney princesses and where they will meet their loyal subjects.
The castle-like entrance to the hall features stone walls and stained glass windows, and it opens into a large gallery where portraits of the princesses hang on the walls. Guests will proceed down to one of four chambers to meet their favorite princess.
Whatever you pick - ghosts and goblins or fairytale princesses - this fall is gearing up to be magical.

We are going to the Halloween party again this year. We have been for the past 2 years and it is just fabulous. Well worth the ticket price. the fireworks are amazing and the parade is well it is a Disney parade so that is enough said :)
