Cast Member Character Paintings
Walt Disney World sets the theme park standard for rides, shows, attractions, dining, and phenomenal employees, but something that doesn't get mentioned nearly enough is the fact that Disney parks don't stop there. They take guest engagement further than any other theme park operation by "plussing" the experience guests have just walking down the street.
Cast Member Painter
For a couple of years now, I've seen a really fun form of "plussing" the guest experience in the form of Disney World custodial cast members "painting" images of Disney characters with water and brooms.
Painting Mickey
So far, I've seen this in Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot, and I watch, transfixed, every time! It's so much fun to watch many of the guests just walk right by until someone notices... sometimes it's a kid, sometimes it's a grownup, but a crowd starts to form as the painting grows.
Finished Mickey
When finished, the cast member simply moves on to a different painting as the other fades away...
Stitch Comes to Life
You'd never expect something like this anywhere else, now would you?

That is so neat! I saw some of the water paintings while walking through Tomorrowland during EMH last fall.

We saw our first water painter right outside Cosmic Ray's (of course!) in December. He did a Mickey head. It was awesome! At the end he had two little kiddos help him with the final touches.
I *heart* Disney!

I did that Stitch in MK!!! is great to see it on the internet... we train and it takes a lot of our time to learn how to draw this characters in the ground. Is great for us knowing that people like you appreciate them, most people ignore them or dont even see them lol
