We're back with another news round-up and we're talking about the expansion of the Minnie Vans at the Deluxe hotels, a new slate of D23 member events for 2018, military discounts for 2018, and much more!

The Minnie Vans transportation service has now expanded to all Deluxe hotels at Walt Disney World after debuting at the BoardWalk and the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. The paid service is operated by Disney through the Lyft app.

Disney has released its military discounts for 2018. The new discounts are valid for most days from January 1 through March 24, and April 6 through December 19.

D23 has announced its slate of member events for 2018. The special events include a celebration of the Animal Kingdom's 20th anniversary, a Toy Story Land event, and Destination D: Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse, a two-day party at Walt Disney World for Mickey's 90th birthday.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has announced that he is stepping down in 2019 and he really means it. His contract was extended through 2019 after he initially announced his plans to retire in 2018 and after Tom Skaggs left the Company.

And finally, Disney recently honored 100 Central Florida non-profit organizations and donated more than $4 million in Disney Grants to help the organizations continue their work.
