Disney News Round-up: Progressive Dinner Announced at Disney Springs, New Party in the Magic Kingdom, and More

Happy day after Thanksgiving! While you're noshing on leftovers we have some exciting food-themed news to share with you. Next weekend there's a special progressive dinner planned at Disney Springs, and next week a new party is coming to the Magic Kingdom. Read on to find out more.

If you've ever wanted to eat at both Morimoto Asia and Homecoming Florida Kitchen on the same night, December 3 is your chance. A progressive dinner, Sake & Shine, is planned at the two restaurants, and Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Chef Art Smith will be in attendance for photos and autographs. Dinner is served at Morimoto Asia and dessert takes place at Homecoming Florida Kitchen. Price is $225 per guest.

Planet Hollywood Observatory in Disney Springs is reportedly planning a mid-to-late December opening. You can check out some of the new menu items here.

Tiana's Riverboat Party and Ice Cream Social starts November 29 at the Magic Kingdom. This new party features an ice cream social at the docks of the Liberty Square Riverboat and VIP viewing for the Festival of Fantasy Parade on board the riverboat!
