Disney VoluntEARS Are Making a Difference Around the World

Disney VoluntEARS are continuing to work hard and have a positive impact in communities around the world.

Recently in Argentina, VoluntEARS were joined by children at the Garrahan Hospital for a screening of Violetta in Concert as part of a program that bring Disney theatrical releases into children's hospitals.

The Disney English Academic Training Team was honored as the 2014 Disney VoluntEARS Team of the Year in China. Their contributions to the Rainbow Bridge Project where they helped rural English teachers learn innovative teaching skills have impacted thousands of students.

And in Disneyland, cast member Mohammad Jaffrey was named the 2014 Disney VoluntEAR of the Year. Disneyland Resort President Michael Colglazier presented the honor to Jaffrey, in addition to naming the Risk Management team as the 2014 Disney VoluntEARS Team of the Year for their continued work with the Children's Hospital of Orange County and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County.
