Favorite Holiday Activities at Walt Disney World [Facebook Fans]
There is so much to see and do at Walt Disney World any time of year, but during the holiday season the entire resort seems to come alive with the festive spirit. Each and every park puts on it's very finest adornments to celebrate with all of the guests. We polled our Facebook Fans to see what their favorite part of the Holidays at WDW is and this is what they said!
Everyone loves the Holiday Decorations that festoon every bit and corner of the property. Lights twinkle ofn trees and wreaths with a different theme for every resort. Some of the favorite decorations mentioned include the magnificent gingerbread displays that the resorts Pastry Chefs create. Marge Krah says "Grand Floridian & Boardwalk are always [her] faves!"
If you're looking for the sparkle and shine though, Sandra Huling, Memoree LeCompte, and Suzanne Tucci think that you just shouldn't miss the absolutely stunning Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights located on the streets of America at Disney Hollywood Studios. With a show that lasts 10-minutes long "the lights are so extensive you may find it hard to comprehend their magnitude."
Maureen Feerick Danforth says "I love all of the decorations everywhere and my all time fav is the Candlelight Processional" and Deborah Ordoyne Authement just couldn't agree more about this holiday event held nightly at the America Gardens Theatre. Different celebrity narrators hold court on special nights throughout the seasons to tell the stirring story of Christmas accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir for spectacular effect.
Catie Walker must go mid-December because she looks forward to "Low crowds!" and I have to agree. If you want to avoid lines early December is a fantastic time to visit the Parks of Walt Disney World.
With all this talk about the holiday fun at Walt Disney World I'm beginning to wish that I could book a Christmas time trip for my family! What are the Disney holiday favorites that your family enjoys most? Leave me a message and tell me what just shouldn't be missed!
