In Honor of Walt Disney World Resort's Golden Anniversary you are cordially invited to join 'The World's Most Magical Celebration' beginning October 1st, 2021. 50 years of magic will be celebrated across the Florida property, with new attractions, refurbishments, food, shows, merchandise, and more that all have a special "EARidescence" to them.

In each of the four Walt Disney World Parks guests will be greeted with Beacons of Magic. These icons will take on an extra magical appearance after dark as they are transformed to include pixie dust on Cinderella Castle, magical fireflies inhabiting the Tree of Life, and special new touches coming to life on the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and at EPCOT, new lights will shine across Spaceship Earth to resemble stars in a nighttime sky. This permanent new lighting will continue beyond "The World's Most Magical Celebration" as a defining feature of the park.





Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are always up for a good party, and will have sparkling new looks for the celebration. As hosts of the event, they'll be dressed for the occasion in custom-made fashions of EARidescent fabric with gold highlights. I can't wait to see the guest merchandise that shimmers with the special EARidescence as well, because you know it's coming.
