Disney fans have come to expect a "Goodnight Kiss," -- it's the Parks' special way to send guests off with a reminder of the magic bringing us together. Over the years many Disney families have created their own special evening and late night rituals, a sort of private goodnight kiss just for them. Here are some ideas to keep the magic going that makes sure you dream sweetly all vacation long.

Fireworks: It's just not the end of the night at Disney if the sky isn't filled with sparkling bursts of color. Staying for the evening fireworks spectacular is the way to close down the night with a bang. For a special viewing try the lounge at the top of the Contemporary Resort or book a Fireworks Cruise. Dates and times are flexible, so check the park schedule to find out if you can catch a viewing on Fantasmic, Illuminations or Wishes before you go.
Uzima Springs Pool
Dip in the Hot Tub: This is my special ritual, I can't imagine not taking a dip before bedtime. Many Disney Resorts feature hot tubs in their pool areas. Though the thermostats are more set on "very warm tub" a quiet dip in the dark can be a relaxing way relieve the day's stress and to sooth tired muscles before heading to bed.
Relax with a Nightcap
Night Cap in the Resort Lounge: Send the kids to the video arcade if you have to, but take the time to enjoy a late night drink in one of the Disney Resorts beautifully themed lounges. Often located in the lobby area, it's nice to sit back in a comfortable chair and relax for a few minutes. Just enjoy the time watching the people stream back from the parks. Order your favorite drink or try one of Disney's yummy signature cocktails like the like the Magical Star Cocktail or Blue Glow-tini.
Watch some "Stacy" TV: Back in the room and getting ready for bed, kids and adults alike love to watch Walt Disney World Resort television. Perky host Stacey has all the information you need to get ready for a magical day of adventure, you can drift off to sleep with dreams of what the next morning will bring.
Is there one specific thing that your crew can't go to sleep without? Do you upload your photos from the day, or set out the clothes for tomorrows adventure? How do you end your magical nights? Leave a comment below and let us know!

I think we do all of the above! Ha. My first choice is always a fireworks show. That tells me "Goodnight, my dear grown-up Disney friend!"
When we get back to the room, we usually watch Stacy for a bit, and I figure out what arrangement of pins I want on my lanyard for the next day, which ears I will wear, re-review the schedule for the day (because reviewing it 643 times already just isn't enough), and go through the pictures of the day and delete the bad ones.

All of the above sounds fantastic! I'm a big fan of taking my nightcap to the hot tub. Yea, I know that it's supposed to be a "no no" but it makes for a great night's sleep!
