More Savannah Space Planned For Kilimanjaro Safaris

Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom is slated to get some enhancements and updates this spring to give guests even more opportunities to spy the park's wildlife, especially zebra.

Changes expected to be made are the removal of the Audio Animatronics "Little Red" elephant which is found near the end of the safari. This will make way for additional savannah area as well as a new watering hole.

The ride will remain open for business as Disney Imagineers work on the planned updates. As mentioned, the update will begin sometime this spring and is expected to be finished by the fall of this year.

I think that this is pretty cool. I thought that what they had seemed out of place after seeing all of the real animals.

I love zebras! The more zebras to see, the better.
