New Hidden Mickey Pins Arriving at Disney Parks This Month

The next collection of the 2013 Hidden Mickey pins are being released later this month at Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort.

If you don't know what the Hidden Mickey Pins are, they're given to cast members to use for pin trading with guests and each pin features a small Mickey Mouse icon. The pins sets are different at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, so if you're lucky enough to make it to both coasts you might have quite a collection!

The Disneyland collection includes a Peter Pan set that honors the 60th anniversary of the film. There is also a set called Just Got Happier featuring pins inspired by the signage from the resort during the reopening of Disney California Adventure. There is also a White Glove set featuring Disney characters who wear gloves and a Winnie the Pooh set.

The Walt Disney World Resort collection features a Park Icons with Disney Characters set that features Disney characters on park icons, including Figment as Spaceship Earth, Tinker Bell on Cinderella's Castle, and Stich as the Tree of Life.

Other Walt Disney World sets include Patriotic Disney Characters, Sports Goofy, Days of the Week Pluto, and Disney's Pin Traders Icons which features the oversized character statutes at Disney's Pin Traders in the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

Special to this release is the bicoastal bird set featuring Disney birds. This set is special because there will be different birds found in the Disneyland collection and the Walt Disney World collection.

There is also a set of silver chaser pins both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World collection which are counterparts to the colored pins in the series and are somewhat difficult to find when trading with cast members.

I must admit that I'm a little sad that Orange Bird isn't in the Disney Birds set.
