New runDisney Vinylmations for 2013 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

There's a new Vinylmation in town! Recently announced is the runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Vinylmation. The new figure will be released on January 10, 2013 and will retail for $12.95. It is not clear if it will be available at the Health & Fitness Expo or just at D-Street in Downtown Disney.

The Mickey Mouse vinyl is wearing a 2013 bib on the front and there is a space on the back to add your finishing time. The best part about these new vinyls are the accessories. For an additional $1.95, you can purchase a mini finishers medal to put around Mickey's neck for your respective race! How cool is that?!?!

And as an added bonus, the artist Maria Clapsis (also the artist behind the Star Wars vinylmation series) will be at D-Street in Downtown Disney on January 13th from 5-7 pm to sign your vinyl! Conveniently, this is during the Cool Down Party taking place that same day in Downtown Disney from 4-10:30 pm.
This new vinyl differs from previous years when each race had their own respective figure.

Still no word on if these new mini-medals will be available for other runDisney races, but that sure would be a nice touch! What do you think of these new additions? Would you buy Mickey a medal? Leave a comment and let us know!

Those. Are. COOL! Dang it, I keep saying I am not into Vinylmation......but I would so buy one of these, and the mini medal!!

These will undoubtedly be HUGE if it is offered at the Expo - I hope they have tons to sell! The medals are such a great Plus Up. Now you have a bib, a medal, a certificate, and a Vinylmation to remember your glorious time at a Disney Event.

Mark V - I couldn't agree more! Yesterday they released a look at additional "mini medals" in the series for the Tinkerbell 1/2 and the Princess 1/2! I just wish that the Vinyl came in either Mickey or Minnie.
