If you're looking for a one stop shop to find Disney gifts and souvenirs, Downtown Disney has the place for you. With 50,000 square feet of Disney shopping, the World of Disney Store is the largest Disney character store on the planet. If you search carefully you'll also find more than a couple of Hidden Mickeys both inside and out!

At the entrances to this vast marketplace you'll be greeted by a Cast Member happy to direct you towards just what you are looking for. You may not be used to a shopping tour guide, but The World of Disney store offers guests 12 themed rooms overflowing with an amazing collection of items. Included in the stock here you'll find:

  • Men's, women's and kids' apparel
  • Disney Character merchandise
  • Collectibles
  • Arts and crafts
  • Baby needs
  • Food and candy
  • Plush toys
  • Pirate and princess accessories
  • Trading pins (World of Disney store is a pin trading location)

Once your budget has hit its limit, don't worry about carrying your treasures back to your room or even home on the plane. The World of Disney Cast Members will package it all up and send it back to your Disney Hotel's Gift Shop for later pick up, or even ship it right to your home via UPS or FedEx.

The World of Disney Store is open Mon-Thu, Sun 9:30 am - 11 pm; and Fri-Sat 9:30 am - 11:30 pm. Furugal shoppers should know that Disney's Visa Card members receive a 10% discount on select merchandise when purchases exceed $50 and they pay with that card.

It's a favorite spot to shop for many of the readers here at Walt Disney World For Grown Ups. It's also the largest character shop inside of any of the Disney Parks.

Since I go to Epcot quite often, I always stop by Mouse Gear. It does have a great selection and you won't leave there empty handed.
