Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth at the Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Confectionery

The next time you're visiting the Magic Kingdom and you just have to buy something sweet to satisfy your sweet tooth, we suggest stopping by the Main Street Confectionery. It's our favorite spot to stop morning, noon, or night for some of the best goodies at the Magic Kingdom.

The Main Street Confectionery is located on the corner of Main Street and it's where you'll find all varieties of candy, cookies, Mickey rice krispie treats, cotton candy, and more. If you stop there in the morning as you're heading into the Magic Kingdom, we would recommend ordering the Strawberry Oat Bar.

This not-too-sweet treat makes the perfect quick breakfast on the go (and it pairs well with a coffee from the Main Street Bakery, aka Starbuck). The Strawberry Oat Bar has a buttery crust and is full of oats and sweet Smuckers strawberry jam.

The Confectionery's case of goodies is always full of incredible Disney sweets including chocolate covered apples, fudge, toffee, cookies, cupcakes, and more. Half the fun of visiting the Main Street Confectionery is just "browsing."

While you're searching for that perfect snack it's always fun to watch the cast members as they create the goodies. The cast members make the fudge and peanut brittle on site and that's always fun to watch.

The Main Street Confectionery also sells bagged candies, cookies, and other treats. It's a good place to visit for those last minute souvenirs as you're leaving the Magic Kingdom. And if you're lucky you might stop in when they're handing out free samples of cotton candy. You just can't beat a free sample.

This is also a great spot to find many of the seasonal and holiday-themed treats at the Magic Kingdom including cupcakes, gingerbread Mickey Mouse cookies, and more.

In the hot and humid summer months the Confectionery is the place to stop for some air conditioning and a snack. And we've also discovered that it's a great place to escape during one of those Florida rainstorms. Everyone else knows this too, so it helps that you can walk next door to the hat shop and buy a new set of Mickey ears.

There are no seats inside the Confectionery so you'll have to take your goodies outside and find a spot to sit and enjoy your snack.

The Main Street Confectionery is a must-stop spot when we're at the Magic Kingdom. Sure, we can find those chocolate dipped Mickey Mouse krispie treats anywhere, but there's something magical about this old fashioned candy store.

What is your favorite sweet snack from the Main Street Confectionery? Let us know in the comments.

Many thanks to the Disney Food Blog for use of their photos.

That oat bar looks a lot like the Michigan cherry oat bar you can find in every Starbucks in America. Hmmmm......
