Star Wars Weekends Celebrity Guests Announced

In less than one month, Star Wars Weekends will open its doors once again in the beautiful Florida sunshine at Disney's Hollywood Studios. As the event approaches, more and more surprises and news is filtering out from Walt Disney World about all of the galactic happenings. Now we have the official list of all of the celebrity attendees showing up and Star Wars Weekend this year, and it is very impressive indeed.





Weekend #1 - May 15th thru May 17th

  • Ian McDiarmid: Played Emperor Palpatine/ Senator Palpatine in each of the 6 Star Wars Movies.
  • Tiya Sircar: Plays Sabine Wren in Star Wars Rebels.
  • Amy Allen: Plays Aayla Secura from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Weekend #2 - May 22nd thru May 24th

  • Warwick Davis: Played Wald and Wicket W. Warwick in the Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi.
  • Silas Carson: Played Ki-Adi-Mundi and Nute Gunray in the Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith.
  • Vanessa Marshall: Plays Hera Syndulla in Star Wars Rebels.

Weekend #3 - May 29th thru May 31st

  • Warwick Davis: Played Wald and Wicket W. Warwick in the Phantom Menace and Return of the Jedi.
  • Daniel Logan: Played Bobba Fett in Attack of the Clones and the Clone Wars.
  • Steve Blum: Plays Zeb Orrelios in Star Wars Rebels.

Weekend #4 - June 5th thru June 7th

  • Ray Park: Played Darth Maul in the Phantom Menace.
  • Jeremy Bulloch: Played Bobba Fett in the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
  • Ashley Eckstein: Plays Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.

Weekend #5 - June 12th thru June 14th

  • Frank Oz: Plays Yoda on five of the six Star Wars original movies as well as in Star Wars Rebels. For our non-Star Wars fans he's Fozzy Bear from the Muppets.
  • Ray Park: Played Darth Maul in the Phantom Menace.
  • Peter Mayhew: Plays Chewbacca in Rvenge of the Sith, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
  • Taylor Gray: Plays Ezra Bridger from Star Wars Rebels.

The official 2015 Star Wars Weekends Host is James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels) who will be appearing every week, and can be found hosting "Star of the Saga" where he will talk with a special guests from a galaxy of favorite Star Wars Characters and actors.

Ashley Eckstein (a personal favorite of us here at WDWFG) will be a constant throughout the weekends as well. In addition to her Weekend IV guest appearance, the vivacious Eckstein can be found every day of the event as host the of "Padawan Mind Challenge - Family Edition."

Celebrity Guests will be available for Autograph Opportunities which for have been moved to an indoor location for the first time. According to Disney "an extremely limited number of FASTPASS tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis. FASTPASS tickets will be required and can be found at the main entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios, to the right of the turnstiles. Based on demand, distribution may begin prior to park opening." Fans will be able to find the indoor autograph venue just off Commissary Lane near Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, but be sure to plan ahead for this very popular experience.

There's one more spot fans will be able to find their Star Wars favorites and that's during the Legends of the Force Motorcade. This special parade will feature legions of Star Wars Characters, Actors, and a few of your Disney favorites thrown in as well. The spectacular march is popular so be sure to stake out a good spot early.
