Top 5 Epcot World Showcase activities

There's so much to do at World Showcase in Epcot. Here's our list of top 5 favorite things to do, assuming that there's no Food & Wine Festival or Flower & Garden Festival going on during your visit.

5. Visit hidden art galleries. Morocco, Mexico, China and several other countries around World Showcase have galleries with rotating art shows just as good as any art museum. Take the time to stop and see the offerings from each country on your next trip around World Showcase.

4. Take in an Off Kilter show in Canada. Five guys, five kilts, and a lot of Celtic rock -- what more could you ask for? Off Kilter plays 30-minute sets complete with Canadian-inspired jokes and bagpipes, too!

3. Drink around the World. It's what all drinkers aspire to a Disney World. If you are brave and well-prepared, this can be done. We put together tips for drinking around the World with some of our recommendations for drinks.

2. See Japan's candy artist. Miyuki Sugimori is one of only 15 people in the world trained to make beautiful art out of rice starch candy. Watching her make an alligator, seahorse, leopard -- you name it -- is mesmerizing. Check out photos of her work over at the Disney Food Blog.

1. See IllumiNations. Quite simply -- if you haven't seen the nighttime IllumiNations fireworks spectacular, you haven't been to World Showcase. Now, to let the IllumiNations/Wishes/Fantasmic debates begin...

I have to agree about Illuminations. It's my favorite nighttime show. Especially at Christmas time.

You guys crack me up.

Mary, good point about eating. What are some of your favorite snacks to go with "drinking around the world?"
