Walt Disney World News Round-up For Friday August 30, 2019

It's been a busy week for news about the Walt Disney World Resort, at D23 we got a peek of what the Reimagined Epcot will look like, while Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened! It's a good time to be a Disney fan, so read on and make sure you haven't missed a thing. Before I start with the theme park news though I want to remind folks that it is hurricane season. Epcot International Food & Wine Festival has kicked off at the Walt Disney World Resort, and the Disney Food Blog is reporting live from opening weekend! Booth prices are finally available here so you can get planning your festival budget.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios! There's a lot of news about this highly anticipated addition to the Park, here are a few things that you should know. New PhotoPass MagicShots have come to Hollywood Studios' Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! You can commemorate your trip to Batuu with a few fun pictures.

Beaches and Cream has been closed for refurbishment, but never fear; if you crave those crazy ice cream concoctions a temporary location is in place. Ariel's, located in Disney's Beach Club Resort has been set up as a sort of satellite location through the closure.
