Rumor has it that guests staying Disney's Polynesian Village and Grand Floridian Resorts may be included in an upcoming test of a new Bluetooth room entry program that would function through the MyDisneyExperience App on their cell phones. This program that can already be found at hotels outside of the Walt Disney World Resort would be another great addition to the mobile technology forward trend we've seen in recent years.

Several Walt Disney World fan sites reported today that Walt Disney World has announced that it will be closing the Children's Activity Centers located at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts as of July 31st, 2018. It is thought that the closures are due to a lack of interest in the programs, at this time it is unclear if the children's activity center at the Walt Disney World Dolphin will continue to operate.
