After months of waiting the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is finally open at the Magic Kingdom. The restaurant was in "soft opening" since December 13 but today is the official opening day. The Skipper Canteen is located in Adventureland.

There is some exciting restaurant news to report! If the rumors are true (and we hope they are), there just might be a new Jungle Cruise-themed restaurant coming to Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. The rumored spot would be located at the Adventureland Veranda, right next to the new location of the Sunshine Tree Terrace.

Jingle Cruise and ‘The Little Mermaid’ T-shirts Available at Disney Parks Online Store this Month

Just in time for some holiday shopping, the Disney Parks online store is featuring two special T-shirts this month.

The first tee was inspired by the Jingle Cruise, which is in its second year at the Magic Kingdom. The holiday themed version of the Jungle Cruise was first introduced in Adventureland at Disneyland.

Disney Centerpiece One of the Six New Boutiques Opening Inside the Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney

The Marketplace Co-Op is scheduled to open later this spring in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, and one of the boutiques guests will find inside is Disney Centerpiece.

The Co-Op is billed as a "testing laboratory" for Disney merchandise and will feature six different boutiques including Beautifully Disney, Cherry Tree Lane, D-Tech on Demand, The Trophy Room, and Zoey and Pickles.

How would you like to have an Aloha Isle Refreshments sign hanging in your house as a daily reminder of all things Disney? Well now you can thanks to the Disney Design Group.

Inspired by the current trend of reproducing vintage signs, Walt Disney Imagineering and the Disney Design Group worked together to create a new art program featuring vintage signs from the Disney Parks. The signs are reproduced on wood-like material or metal and feature some of the most iconic signs from the parks.

Disney's Polynesian was one of the two original Walt Disney World Hotels and it continues to be a perennial fan favorite. Though refurbs and make-overs there are some things the "Poly" has always done better than anywhere else. Limited Time Magic: Week 39

Inspired by International Talk like a Pirate Day, which happens every year on September 19th, the Magic Kingdom is being taken over by scallywags and ne're-do-wells with some swashbuckling Limited Time Magic. From September 23 - 29, 2013 guests down for some fun will enjoy The Rusty Cutlass pirate band in Adventureland with special guests Pirate Goofy and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
