New Cocktails at the Tambu Lounge

While waiting for Dinner at Ohana my traveling companion and I decided to check out some of the new drinks on the Disney Cocktail Menu. We had become well acquainted with the Lapu Lapu and appetizer menu on previous trips, this time we thought we should get a little adventurous.

Old Key West Resort's Gurgling Suitcase Bar

This week's stop on our tour of Disney Bars and Lounges is The Gurgling Suitcase at Disney Vacation Club's Old Key West Resort. This sunny spot to grab a drink is located in the "Conch Flats Village" main square located just off the main lobby. What a great location it is too, right near check in, the restaurants, self parking, the feature pool and the marina.

Muddy Rivers Pool Bar at Port Orleans Riverside Resort

Tucked away on Ol' Man Island at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside is the Muddy Rivers Pool Bar. Situated well out of the way of the resort's guest rooms and main building, there is little hustle and bustle unless the feature pool is crowded. It appears to be the shambled kind of southern bar that you would expect to see out on the bayou, except it's Disney squeaky clean. Open to the elements with a faux weathered wood exterior and charming storm shutters that prop open.

Tables In Wonderland Membership

With costs high for just about everything you do at Walt Disney World, many travelers are always looking for a way that they can save money. For Florida residents, DVC Members, and Annual Pass Holders one of the ways that Disney has made a savings available is to purchase a Tables in Wonderland Membership.

Disney's Coronado Springs Laguna Bar

The Coronado Springs Resort offers a breezy, outdoor lounge. Located near La Marina, the Laguna Bar is perfect for sipping a cocktail in the sultry summer evening and winding down next to the beautiful lake. The view here may be one of the prettiest of all Disney Bars.

Three Great High Energy Bars

We've covered a lot of Disney Bars and Lounges over the past year, but these three are my picks for the top high energy clubs on all of Walt Disney World property. So if you're looking for a place to cap off your night with music, fun, and abundant cocktails, this is the list for you! Next time you're looking for some extraordinary Disney nightlife, give one of these three places a try.

Tipping on the Disney Dining Plan

Being on the Disney Dining Plan is a great way to reduce travel stress by pre-paying for your meals. It's important to remember though that the service tip for your waiter or waitress is NOT included in your dining plan costs and will still need to be left at the time of your meal. The old addage remains at Walt Disney World - Don't forget to tip your servers.

Disney Mocktails: All the Fun Without the Alcohol

Walt Disney World has some fabulous bars and lounges to explore throughout it's property offering fun cocktails to wet your whistle and help you indulge in tropical vacation bliss. But not everyone can or wants to consume alcohol, and with the temperatures rising this summer to record highs imbibing is not always the smartest choice.

Stop by for Cocktails at Disney Hollywood Studios' Tune In Lounge

If you find yourself in Disney's Hollywood Studios and are looking for a fun place to sit down with a cocktail and some fantastic food, you should make your way to the Tune In Lounge. This quirky bar tucked between the Prime Time Cafe and Hollywood & Vine is the epitome of 1950's cocktail kitsch.

Wine & Champagne Kiosk in Epcot's France

Perhaps one of the least assuming places to grab a fantastic cocktail is the small Kiosk on the side of the water in Epcot's France Pavilion. This small but bustling booth serves up a variety of French alcoholic delights. You can fine nine selections of wines, the French Beer Kronenbourg 1664 and chilled shots of Grand Marnier.
