NEWS: Disney Dining Plan Updates Announced for 2018 and Alcoholic Drinks are Now Included

We have big news today! The 2018 Disney Dining Plan updates were announced this morning and for the first time ever the Dining Plan includes specialty beverages and alcoholic beverages (for guests 21 and older of course).

Mobile Order Coming to Satu’li Canteen and Other Restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

When Satu'li Canteen opens May 27 with the rest of Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom, guests will be able to use the new Mobile Order system on the My Disney Experience app. The new ordering system will then expand to other restaurants this summer.

2017 Free Dining Offer Announced for Walt Disney World Resort

Today's the day! The 2017 Free Dining offer was announced earlier this morning for select travel dates between the end of August and late December. There are no October travel dates for this year's offer and there's also a change for moderate resorts.

What We Love Most about Epcot’s Italy Pavilion

Epcot's Italy pavilion has always ranked in my top two or three favorite pavilions in World Showcase thanks in part to the overall beauty of the area. Also it's the closest I'll find myself to Venice (or any other spot in Italy) anytime soon.

Tips For Traveling To Walt Disney World With Teens and Young Adults

Traveling to Disney with older kids can be a joy, if you just give them a little room to spread their wings. I loved taking my kids to Walt Disney World when they were little, the joy on their faces and the wonder of youth is awesome to behold. But - I'll be honest when I say that now that my kids are older (ranging in age from 16-22) it's a whole different sort of fun. I'm often asked by parents of teens how I managed to keep their Disney love alive, and mostly I think I just got lucky.

Dinner with a View at Epcot’s San Angel Inn

Every time I've visited Epcot's Mexico pavilion to enjoy the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros I always say "next time we'll eat at the San Angel Inn." And every time we'd return we wouldn't make reservations for a meal at the waterside restaurant. That all changed during our Thanksgiving-week vacation when we finally had the chance to enjoy dinner at Mexico's table service restaurant.
