STK Opening This Year at The Landing in Disney Springs

Another new restaurant has been announced for The Landing area at Disney Springs. STK by The ONE Hospitality, Inc., is scheduled to open later this year and will be one of the largest STK locations in the world at more than 14,000 square feet.

Trattoria al Forno Replacing Kouzzina by Cat Cora at Disney’s BoardWalk

A new Italian restaurant is replacing Kouzzina by Cat Cora at Disney's BoardWalk.

Trattoria al Forno is scheduled to open in December and its menu will feature regional Italian dishes in addition to classic favorites such as shrimp with garlic, capers, and anchovies served with polenta, baked lasagna, eggplant rollatini, and chicken breast alla Parmagiana.

Several ‘Major’ Restaurants May be Headed to Disney Springs

As construction continues on Disney Springs, there are more restaurant names being added to the mix that already includes a new dining location from the Patina Restaurant Group.

One of the restaurants said to be a good possibility is Morimoto, the Japanese and sushi restaurant owned by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and the Starr restaurant group. The restaurant currently has locations in New York City and Philadelphia.

Braille Menus to Be Available for Guests at Select Restaurants in Disney World and Disneyland

Beginning March 1, both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort will be offering Braille menus for guests with visual disabilities.

A Few Magical Ways to Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort

If you haven't made your New Year's Eve plans yet and you're going to be at the Walt Disney World Resort there are a few rather magical ways to ring in 2014.

As of mid-December, Monsieur Paul still had a few reservations available for noon, 12:30, 2:30, and 3 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The restaurant is serving a three-course menu for $75 (plus tax and gratuity).

Food News In and Around Walt Disney World

Food at Disney World is an attraction in and of itself for many guests; here are some food news tidbits from around WDW.

First up are snacks. It looks like fans of the sweet cream cheese-filled pretzel can now get their fix at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The pretzels can be found on the Streets of America at the Pretzel Garden. Next, guests can use a Disney Dining Plan snack credit (or pay $3.19) to grab a Citrus Swirl. This sweet twist of vanilla soft-serve ice cream and frozen orange juice can be found in the Magic Kigndom's Sunshine Tree Terrace.

Time is getting short until the start of the Epcot's 2019 Flower and Garden Festival! The full menus are out and it looks like once again guests at Epcot will have access to some of the most creative and delicious things imaginable coming out of the garden. This year a total of 17 Outdoor Kitchens will join several permanent locations, each one showcasing the freshest flavors of the season.

Looking for someplace fun and festive to spend your St. Patrick's Day while in Walt Disney World? Take our advise and head on over to Raglan Road Irish Pub for the Mighty St. Patrick's Day Festival. This rolicking 3-day event only happens once a year, and will immerse guests in all things Irish. The enormous party full of authentic Irish fun kicks off at 3:00pm Friday, March 15th, 2019 and runs thru to Sunday, March 17th, 2019.

On my last visit I discovered a new favorite of mine, for grab and go food to take back to the room, on a picnic, or even to tuck in my bags on the way home. Nestled snuggly on an exterior corner of Wine Bar George, just to the right of the entrance to the chic bar, guests will find The Basket.
