Saturday Style: The Little Mermaid

We're deep into summer and life is the bubbles! So why not show off your under the sea style with this fun ensemble inspired by Disney's Little Mermaid Ariel. The comfortable shirtdress is accented with tail flippin' accessories like a wide skin-tone belt, purple scarf, seashell handbag, and starfish hairpin. But my favorite piece in this fun outfit is the most charming necklace on the seven seas, a little brass rowboat seats silvertone silhouettes of Prince Eric and the voiceless Ariel poised for a kiss.

Saturday Style: Gearing Up for Star Wars Weekends

Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios start May 15, 2015 so now is the perfect time to get shopping for the cute couture that shows off your Star Wars #DisneySide. I'll have lots of great gear coming up in the next couple of weeks but I thought that I would kick it off with a little Ewok love for him or her. These sassy little critters have a way of stealing the show, and with a touch of closet cosplay from Her Universe you can do so as well.

Saturday Style: Something For Him Inspire By Aloha Isle

Every now and then the Disney Store puts out something great for guys that I absolutely fall in love with, and this week it's a Mickey Mouse Hawaiian Shirt. This travel classic full of kitsch and swagger will have any guys looking great standing in line for his Dole Whip at Aloha Isle, or heading to the Polynesian Village Resort for a Luau. Keep it casual and comfortable with cargo shorts and leather Birkenstock sandals.

In the movie costume designer Sandy Powell "wanted the costumes to be bold and have an explosion of color as if it were a picture book," but the wedding dress had to embody modesty and pure heart of Cinderella.
