Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks Reopen After Hurricane Irma

The Walt Disney World Resort felt the force of Hurricane Irma Sunday night after the hurricane took a turn and headed north to Orlando. The theme parks were closed Sunday and Monday due to the storm, but the Resort hotels were full of guests riding out the wind and rain.

Hurricane Irma and Your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation

Hurricane Irma is currently churning its way through the Atlantic and was upgraded to a category 5 storm this morning. And, while the track of Hurricane Irma is still uncertain, the forecast cone for the category 5 hurricane covers all of Central and Southern Florida, including the Orlando area.
