Welcome to another Friday news round-up! This week we've got some great announcements that may make your next Walt Disney World vacation even more magical. To begin with the new daily ticket pricing is now in effect.
Let's kick off the Friday news round-up with a quick reminder that Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort opened itsbeautiful new port of entry this week! There's a fresh new island feeling and welcoming atmosphere at Old Port Royale, with a new lobby, restaurants, and more!

There were a couple of fun announcements made regarding Epcot's Holidays Around The World celebration, including an the announcement of four more celebrity narrators for Epcot's Candlelight Processional. Disney just announced a whole slew of limited time offerings for 2019 that will keep guests in the party mood from January to September! We'll have more information coming for you about the exciting new events as Disney expands the details, but here's a peek at how Walt Disney World will be celebrating all year long in 2019.
Since October of 1999 Walt Disney World guests have enjoyed gathering each night on the shores of World Showcase Lagoon to watch the nightly spectacular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Today Disney announced that the popular nighttime show will end its run at the close of the 2019 summer season.

The Walt Disney Company tops Forbes' list of the World's Best Regarded Companies for 2018, moving up four spots from 2017, the first year that the rankings were compiled. Disney ranks No. 1, earning the highest marks among Forbes' 2018 Global 2000 companies.
Disney & Major League Baseball are both as American as apple pie, so it's no wonder that the Atlanta Braves have been making their spring home at the ESPN Wide World of Sports (WWoS) for more than 20 years. In fact the very first event held at WWoS was a Braves Spring Training Game. Sadly, 2019 will be the final year for The Atlanta Braves to hold Spring Training at Walt Disney World. Now is the time to make your travel plans to enjoy both of these the great American institutions in the same fabulous vacation.
