Fun Ways to Beat the Rain at Walt Disney World

No one wants to hear it, but it is very possible that it will rain during your Walt Disney World Vacation.

Florida might be the Sunshine State, but it can also be rather rainy at certain times of the year especially during the summer months. But don't let a little bit of rain dampen your magical visit.

There are still so many things you can do at Disney, even if it's a little wet outside.

Celebrate the New Year with Fine Dining and Fireworks at the Walt Disney World Resort

If you're ringing in 2014 at the Walt Disney World Resort, there are many magical and delicious ways to celebrate.

The Magic Kingdom will be presenting Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season at 9 p.m. on December 30 and 31, and there will be a special presentation of Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 11:50 p.m. on both nights.

If you're spending New Year's Eve at the Magic Kingdom, there's a special ticket fireworks dinner and dessert party at the Tomorrowland Terrace.

DisneyQuest an Interactive Gaming Adventure

Looking for a fun experience at Disney outside of the parks? Do you have any gamers in your party? Consider spending an afternoon at DisneyQuest.

DisneyQuest is an indoor interactive theme park located on Downtown Disney's West Side with a one-of-a-kind gaming experience for all ages.

I'll admit when some friends wanted to spend a day at DisneyQuest instead of the parks I was doubtful. I am not a video game person and assumed I would be bored the entire time. Wrong! I ended up finding my inner gamer and having a great time.
