Mickey and Minnie Get A New Home at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Grown ups love the Disney Characters just as much as the kids do and a beautiful queue to wait for your chance at a picture has become the standard for Walt Disney world Character Meet-n-Greets. According to Disney's Shawn Slater over on the Disney Parks Blog, Mickey and Minnie are getting a new home this spring at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Mickey Mouse in Lonesome Ghosts

Halloween time at Walt Disney World is a wonderful cacophony of fall colors, villainous characters, and Disney magic. At night Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a hot ticket for pirate and villain lovers. It's one of my favorite times of the year to visit the Parks and to celebrate the spooktacular Halloween holiday in a fun way that's not too scary.

Celebrating Storybook Circus with a Classic Disney Short

The final phase of the new Fantasyland 'Storybook Circus' has been completed with the opening of a new meet and greet destination. At 'Pete's Silly Sideshow' you'll be able to mix and mingle with Donald Duck and Goofy or Minnie Mouse and Daisy all dressed up in their costumed circus splendor.

It's Pollinator Day at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Disney's Animal Kingdom is celebrating conservation events all year long! As a zoological park it is regularly engaged in ongoing research and conservation efforts involving its animal species. Today the folks in the Park are celebrating Pollinator Day! Guests who stop by Rakiki's Planet Watch can participate in Pollinator Day activities that include the opportunity to see two different types of bees and to learn how to create a pollinator garden at home.
