2019 Atlanta Braves Spring Training Schedule at ESPN Wide World of Sports

Disney & Major League Baseball are both as American as apple pie, so it's no wonder that the Atlanta Braves have been making their spring home at the ESPN Wide World of Sports (WWoS) for more than 20 years. In fact the very first event held at WWoS was a Braves Spring Training Game. Sadly, 2019 will be the final year for The Atlanta Braves to hold Spring Training at Walt Disney World. 2017 NFL Pro Bowl Events To Be Held at ESPN Wide World of Sports

Hold onto your seat football fans, last week the NFL and ESPN announced that the annual Pro Bowl (aka the NFL's "All-Star" game) will be coming to Orlando in 2017. While the game itself will be played at Camping World Stadium near downtown Orlando several events leading up to it will be taking place at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Kick Off a ‘Monstrous Summer’ With 24 Hours at the Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World Resort will kick off a Monstrous Summer by keeping three theme parks open for 24 nonstop hours on Memorial Day Weekend. The Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will be open to guests from 6 a.m. local, May 24 to 6 a.m. local May 25, 2013.

Over the past few years it seems like there has been a lot of "Blue Sky" planning for Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney area but very little actually happening to change the face and feeling of this popular location. Many feel that sections of the shopping, dinning and entertainment district have been suffering from a lack of identity and direction since the closure of Pleasure Island in 2008.
