More Than 1,000 Original Disneyland Items Headed to Auction this Month

Disneyland Resort is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and fans of the resort have a chance to bid on more than 1,000 original collectibles at the end of this month. The items headed to the auction block include cast member costumes, tickets, blueprints from the park, and even a skeleton from the original Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.

New Characters and Merchandise Debuting at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for this season is November 7 and this year the annual holiday event includes some Frozen magic and a new character meet-and-greet.

Country Bear Jamboree Gets a Slight Revamp

The Country Bear Jamboree, that Frontierland staple, has recently reopened after being closed for refurbishment; it's received its first updates since it first opened back in the early '70s.

First up, those heading out to take in the show might appreciate the new benches, curains and backdrops. The bears, too, have also be given a makeover, receiving new fur and clothes. In addition, Disney Imagineers have reworked the show itself a little bit, cutting some of the dialogue and music and shortening the overall presentation by about five minutes.
