Tickets are on sale today for the 2016 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, with a twist. The ticket prices are tiered based on what day you want to attend the party with pricing going up the closer you get to the holidays.

Metal Detectors Installed at All Four Walt Disney World Theme Parks

The Walt Disney World Resort has recently updated its security measures by adding metal detectors at the entrances to all four theme parks, banning the sale of toy guns, and prohibiting costumes on all guests over the age of 14.

Guests at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom are likely too busy enjoying the party to think about conservation and recycling.

But behind the scenes, the Magic Kingdom Environmental/Recycling team is hard at work to make the party "green."

Each year the Magic Kingdom Recycle Team works toward supporting Disney's corporate goals when it comes to environmental efforts.

Disney villains are getting a lot of attention at this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

This year's holiday event will feature Villains Mix & Mingle: Live on Stage at the Castle Forecourt Stage, and guests at the party will have a chance to meet their favorite Disney villains at locations throughout the Magic Kingdom.

Limited Time Magic: Week 44

The ghostly goings on for Halloween week at Magic Kingdom are some of my favorite all year long. This week only you can be entertained by the spooky song stylings of the Cadaver Dans as they haunt Frontierland. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, head to the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon to enjoy the re-styled "The Happy Haunted Horseshoe." This special Limited Time Magic is fleeting though, so be sure to attend while the veil is thin.

Halloween time at Walt Disney World is a wonderful cacophony of fall colors, villainous characters, and Disney magic. At night Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a hot ticket for pirate and villain lovers. It's one of my favorite times of the year to visit the Parks and to celebrate the spooktacular Halloween holiday in a fun way that's not too scary.
