Disney Closes LucasArts

Disney has announced that they will be shuttering LucasArts, the development and publishing arm for interactive entertainment software. The move is a strategic shift "from an internal development to a licensing model" that will hopefully bring in successful new development partners. Sadly, with this closure there have been lay offs for approximately 150 LucasArts employees.

Imagineers Reveal Backstory of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's Founder and President

The Walt Disney Imagineers are hard at work on a new project in Walt Disney World - updating Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's queue area.

The Magic Kingdom attraction is receiving a new, interactive queue, which will include the backstory of the gentleman pictured to the right, one Barnabas T. Bullion, the Founder and President of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. His story is as follows:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Queue To Go Interactive

There seems to be a trend going on at Walt Disney World involving interactive queues for attractions. It's recently been announced Frontierland staple Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be the next ride at WDW to jump aboard the interactive queue wagon.

Be 'That Guy' at the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

Walt Disney World Resort has declared 2013 a Monsterous Summer to celebrate the June 21 release of the Disney-Pixar animated feature, "Monsters University." To honor his alma mater, everyone's favorite one-eyed MC has instructed his gang at the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor to come up with some brand new jokes to delight Magic Kingdom guests and gather the laughs to power Monstropolis.

Test Track Presented by Chevrolet

Card Trading Tips for Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is a fun, interactive game that Walt Disney World guests can play while while spending time in the Magic Kingdom. Sorcerers Spell Cards are given out in small packs at the Firehouse Recruiting Station, and guests may obtain one pack a day, per park ticket. With these cards, guests are directed to head out into the park and fight evil.
