Online Check-in Period Extended to 60 Days

Preparations are happening across property to get ready for the MyMagic+ features that we talked about last week. To this end the My Disney Experience Website has increased the time period in which you can check-in to your Walt Disney World Resort Online. Formerly guests staying on property at one of the Disney Resort Hotels were allowed to check in as far out as 10 days in advance to their arrival date.

As someone who has a tendency to over-plan and sometimes over-think my family's Walt Disney World vacations I was mildly excited to use the MyDisneyExperience online tools and mobile app for our most recent vacation.

Today we will explore the evolution of Walt Disney World admission media over the past four and a half decades. To help us better understand how ticket media had changed; let's experiment with our own little "Carousel" of ticket "Progress". We'll follow a family of four (mom, dad, sister aged 14, brother aged 7) on their quest to go to the Magic Kingdom for one day to visit some of their favorite attractions at various points in Disney history.

See A Show or Concert at Downtown Disney's House of Blues

Have you ever thought about seeing a concert while on your Disney vacation? Nope? Well, to be honest I hadn't either, but that soon changed when it was pointed out to me that the amazing Olly Murs was going to be performing at Downtown Disney's House of Blues. I am a huge fan of his, so I was very happy to hear this. After I stopped screaming like a hormonal teenager I went online to book tickets. I had been to House of Blues once years ago while I was vacationing, so I had fond memories of the place.
