Disney's Limited Time Magic campaign continues into it's fourth week with a fun blast from the past. It's long-lost friends week from January 21st to 27th, 2013 at the Walt Disney World Resort. Returning to the Magic Kingdom to meet and greet your family for a limited time only, are some rare characters ready to strike a pose.

Walt Disney World Makes Fodor's 2013 "Must Go" List

Fodor's Travel Guide released their "Must Go" List for 2013 with the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida making the list top 25 trips to book right now. There's no doubt that the New Fantasyland expansion helped our favorite vacation destination make this "must go" list. They even suggest that with exploring Storybook Circus and the Enchanted Forest you may want to add another full day to your Magic Kingdom plans.

Imagineers Reveal Backstory of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's Founder and President

The Walt Disney Imagineers are hard at work on a new project in Walt Disney World - updating Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's queue area.

The Magic Kingdom attraction is receiving a new, interactive queue, which will include the backstory of the gentleman pictured to the right, one Barnabas T. Bullion, the Founder and President of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. His story is as follows:

Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Taping Coming to Walt Disney World

Many Disney fans tune in their television sets every December 25 for the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. The celebration of music, floats, Disney characters and Christmas cheer is taped ahead of time in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. While the California tapings have already taken place, Walt Disney World is gearing up for their part in the special which is set to be taped later this month.

At this time, it looks like taping for the parade will happen at the Magic Kingdom Friday, November 30, and Saturday, December 1 (with Sunday, December 2, as a rain date).

German Tourist Accused of Making Fake Bomb Threat at WDW

This past Sunday morning, a tourist from Germany was arrested after allegedly making a fake bomb threat near the entrance of the Magic Kingdom.

Jochen Naumann, 37, apparently told cast members working the security checkpoint at the Magic Kingdom that he had two bombs in his backpack. When the cast member questioned Naumann further, the German tourist repeated he had bombs in his backpack.

A sherriff deputy stationed at the checkpoint then called in a bomb-sniffing dog while he took the tourist into custody. The dog did not find any explosive devices in the man's backpack.

Ten Villains to Catch at WDW This Fall

Halloween fast approaches, and with it comes a surge of popularity for Disney villains. The Disney Parks Blog put together a top ten list of sorts - ten villains for guests to catch up with during this season at the parks. See how many of your favorites made the list!

Country Bear Jamboree Gets a Slight Revamp

The Country Bear Jamboree, that Frontierland staple, has recently reopened after being closed for refurbishment; it's received its first updates since it first opened back in the early '70s.

First up, those heading out to take in the show might appreciate the new benches, curains and backdrops. The bears, too, have also be given a makeover, receiving new fur and clothes. In addition, Disney Imagineers have reworked the show itself a little bit, cutting some of the dialogue and music and shortening the overall presentation by about five minutes.

Dates Set for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Disney has recently set the dates for this year's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Yes, you read that right; would you believe this year's Christmas festivities at the Magic Kingdom kick off in little less than a month?

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party is a special, after hours celebration of Christmas at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. There's a special parade, snow on Main Street, Cinderella's Castle decked out in lights and Disney characters in their Christmas finery.

Fairy Periwinkle To Join Tinker Bell at Meet and Greet

Tinker Bell will soon have a new friend helping her meet guests at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Periwinkle, a frost fairy Tinker Bell meets in the Disney Fairies movie, "Secret of the Wings," will be joining Tinker Bell to greet guests at Disney parks in Florida and California.

Non-Park Ideas for the Fourth of July at Walt Disney World

The weeks around the Fourth of July Celebration are some of the busiest of the year at Walt Disney World. Crowd levels usually rise to a 10 out of 10, and at the Magic Kingdom the gate will frequently reach capacity. When a park reaches capacity guests are no longer able to enter, and even having a coveted dining reservation won't get you in. If you plan on spending your Fourth of July Holiday at the Magic Kingdom, be sure to get there early and stay throughout the duration.
