Mark Your Calendars Now for "Halfway to Paddy Day"

Heading to Walt Disney World in September? You might want to mark your calendars now for Saturday, September 17. While it may seem like any other ordinary Saturday, Raglan Road in Downtown Disney will be celebrating the halfway mark to St. Patrick's Day with a party.

Live music, Irish dancing, competitions and giveaways highlight Ragland Road's "Halfway to Paddy Day" party. The event is set to kick off at 5 p.m. with a traditional Irish ballad band followed by the Ragland Road dancers. Also on tap is the U2 tribute band Elevation.

Raglan Road Takes Orlando Magazine's 2014 Best Restaurant Award

The results are out for Orlando Magazine's 2014 Dining Awards and some of our favorite Disney restaurants put in a strong showing amongst the honored. The publications readers were surveyed in 61 different dining categories with the top three in each group being published as winners.

What To Do on Arrival and Departure Days in Disney World

Many of us arrive in Disney World at mid-day or in the evening, but don't want to use up a day on our park-hopper tickets for only a half-day of park touring.

Additionally, there are often times that we don't have a flight out until late afternoon or evening, but we've used up all of our tickets and need to fill the time until we leave for the airport.

Downtown Disney's Raglan Road

Raglan Road in Downtown Disney had been on my "to-do" list for quite some time. Who can resist pub food? Rose and Crown is one of my favorite restaurants in Epcot, so I was anxious to give the Irish pub a chance.
