General Public Fall & Winter Disney World Discounts

If you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World for the fall or winter of 2010, you may be able to cash in on some discounts. Recently, Disney World announced savings on rooms for certain dates through the end of this year and early into 2011.

Guests can save 25% at Disney Value Resorts and the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Disney Moderate Resorts and the Grand Floridian Resorts see a 30% savings. Other Disney Deluxe Resorts and the Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts can be had at a 40% savings.

Arusha Savanna Views at Animal Kingdom Lodge Now $30 Extra

If you're like most visitors to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you'd probably prefer an Arusha Savanna view. If that describes you, we have good news and bad news for you. While you can now lock in an Arusha Savanna view, you will have to pay a premium to do so.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge Fan Site is reporting that in 2011, there will be a premium for the most popular view.

Are Haunted Mansion and Royal Themed Rooms Coming?

Have you ever wanted to spend the night in a Doombuggy? You may just get your chance.

According to DisZine, Disney has been conducting surveys on visitor interest in themed rooms. Specifically rooms themed in a Royal style or after the Haunted Mansion attraction.

While young girls probably won't be able to resist the idea of being a princess, grownups can enjoy the fun of staying in the Haunted Mansion.
