New D-Tech Me Experience Debuts During Star Wars Weekends

Last year's D-Tech Me introduced the Carbon Freeze Me experience, inspired by that fateful scene in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back when Han Solo is frozen in carbonite. This year guests can choose from the "cast yourself in carbonite" option or choose the new Stormtrooper experience.

It may surprise some of our younger readers, but these beautiful photos and fun character creations aren't just for scrap booking - you can actually send a letter home! Everyone loves to find a surprise in their mailbox that's not a bill, and a note sent back home is a fun piece of Disney magic to share.

MagicBead Artisans Booth at Disney Hollywood Studios

While strolling past the Rockin' Rollercoaster I came across a fun little booth that had rows and rows of bright and colorful beads hanging off of it. Never one to pass up looking at a jewelry store, I had to stop and was delighted at what I found. These fun beads in rainbows of brilliant color are actually Disney Guide Maps and paper products collected from around Walt Disney World that have been turned into fun jewelry!

Mickey Mouse Gnomes at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

Spring is in the air and the Flower and Garden Festival is now in full swing at Walt Disney World's Epcot Theme park with millions of blooms, great entertainment and new food offerings from March 6 to May 19, 2013. As guests stroll through the themed gardens and wonder in the diversity of plat life showcased in the park they can also spend a fair amount of time shopping for their own gardens back at home.
