Disney Quest Celebrates 15 Years at Downtown Disney

Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park in Downtown Disney is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

The building houses five stories of interactive fun and high tech adventure including Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold, Virtual Jungle Cruise, CyberSpace Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters, Animation Academy, Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam, Ride the Comix, and Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride.

New D-Tech Me Experience Debuts During Star Wars Weekends

Last year's D-Tech Me introduced the Carbon Freeze Me experience, inspired by that fateful scene in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back when Han Solo is frozen in carbonite. This year guests can choose from the "cast yourself in carbonite" option or choose the new Stormtrooper experience.

WDW Marathon Weekend Registration Opens

Today is the day runDisney fans. Registration for the 2014 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend begins! Next year not only will runners find the encouragement and entertainment along a thrilling course that they have come to know and love with a runDisney race, but a whole slew of enhancements have been added!

Extra batteries and chargers are staple items to add to your tech bag before leaving on vacation. In my bag you'll find a variety of chargers to keep me going throughout my day of heavy touring. For my usage of heavy tweeting and texting during vacations, my iPhone battery will last me until about mid-day. After that it's time to plug in and power up to both keep in touch with the rest of our party, and share the fun with my Twitter stream.
