The Dress Shop On Cherry Tree Lane Goes Halloween Chic

Dapper Disney dolls love to swing by Disney Springs on their trips to see what the latest wears are at The Dress Shop On Cherry Tree Lane in Marketplace Co-Op. Right now the style of the season is Halloween chic with a collection of eerily gorgeous gowns that add some retro style to your Disney Halloween fun. The star of this selection for me was absolutely the Hollywood Tower Hotel dress that riffs of the bell-hop uniforms worn by cast members at the Tower of Terror.

Why Disney’s Hollywood Studios Is Still Hot This Summer

It's no secret, Disney's Hollywood Studios is undergoing some major construction with many previous Guest areas closed down and blocked off to make wake for new adventures. Construction - Disney fan has a love/hate relationship with it. Because while the idea of new rides and attractions excite us, the ugly walls, and fewer attractions leave us wondering why we're paying so much to get in the park.

Attractions to Relax On: Hollywood Studios Edition

Since we last visited this subject, many things have changed at Disney's Hollywood Studios that have cut the attraction list down - but that doesn't mean that you can't find a spot to sit down and relax a bit while you keep on checking off your "to do" list.

Take a Thrilling Ride into the Unknown on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

If you're a thrill-seeker then you probably already have The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror on your must-ride list of attractions.

But if you haven't had a chance to experience this attraction yet and you only have a slight fear of falling elevators and dark rides, I would suggest adding it to your FastPass+ selections on your next visit. After riding it for the very first time ever a few weeks ago, the Tower of Terror is my new favorite attraction at the Studios.

The Inaugural Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler

The Inaugural Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler took over 10,000 runners into another dimension on September 29. This is the second nighttime race on the runDisney roster and it was a hauntingly good time! The course began at Disney's Hollywood Studios and took runners down Osceola Parkway towards Animal Kingdom and back to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (WWOS).

runDisney: There’s Something For Everyone

runDisney events are increasing in popularity every year. It is so great to see more people adopting a healthy lifestyle in order to participate in these events. Disney is doing a great job of diversifying their races to appeal to runners at all levels. From walkers, to moderate runners, to experienced marathoners, there is something for everyone.

Race Courses: They Can Make or Break You

NOTE: Not All of the runDisney events mentioned in this article are still held.

When I first started running, I never gave much thought to the actual race course itself. I was more concerned about actually finishing the race and not getting swept! (If you're not familiar with being swept, for Disney races you must keep a 16 minute/mile pace on the course or you will get picked up by race officials and taken to the end of the race.) Now as I've done more races, I have become increasingly aware of the course and what challenges it will hold.
