1 day/2 park ticket

That's what we do when we go to Universal. But that was before Harry Potter, so I don't know how the time/wait for that would impact the ability to do both parks in 1 day.

Really depends on how busy the place is. I'd guess September is not as busy with kids back to school. When we would go in April or early May, we would inevitably find ourselves there in a sea of high school kids on their year-end class or senior trip. It would be less painful to me to drink battery acid and poke my eyes out with a hot poker....

I guess it depends on how much of the parks you want to do. It should be possible to hit most of the big rides, but if you want do do some of the others and watch a few shows or 3D shows then you'll need at least a day per park.

I agree. We did both parks in one day, but we didn't want to see and ride EVERYTHING, plus Harry Potter wasn't there then, so I have no idea if I'd be able to do it that way again.

My guess is that in September with low crowds, you should be able to go "commando" and get nearly everything in. Not much time for shopping or eating though!

I am so trying to get use to everyone saying commando on here in the doing everything as quick as possible and not running around... well... commando... lol

Hey Peg, we got 2 day tickets to Universal in case we don't get to see everything the first day, you get a discount with CAA and I think Mear's is 16 per person for the trip anyway so it isn't too bad.
