30 Days out!! Let the FP'ing begin!!

We're at the 30 day mark today and you know what that means..... mickey Well for Annual pass holders, anyway! awesome

Time to start making those Fast Pass selections. I've got about two hours until the clock strikes midnight at Disney waiting , so I'll be burning the midnight oil waiting for that time to arrive to make my first full days FP selections at MK... yeah

I'm shooting for: stars

1. Wishes nighttime spectacular

2. Festival of Fantasy Parade

3. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

I'll be happy with two out of three, but counting on one, realistically.... We'll see, though!! awesome

Wish me luck!!!

Good luck! I take it you are not staying on property if you had to wait until 30 days.

How'd you do Mike? I would expect you should be able to get all 3 at MK, especially if you are going mid-week. I was able to snag FP's for Wishes and 7DMT within a few days for our recent visit (last week), but it was for a Wednesday. crossfingers

Yes you do and you don't have to start lining up over an hour before. Wishes FP is in the new hub area and the FOF parade is right by the flag pole in Main Street Square. Great views there. To me it made a huge difference.

MrHub,

We are staying in a 2-bdrm condo (1550 sq. ft.) off site. It's where we really save $$$ in order to go as often as we do in a year, plus AP renewal was up, so that cut into the funds... I use the Armed Forces Vacation Club to book my condo and get it for $299 a week. They had a BOGO going for my timeframe, so it was two weeks for $299.. Ya just can't beat that with a stick!! yay

It seems AP holders should get more than 30 days out for FP. Disney really needs to look into that... I've called on several occasions to suggest they change it to at least 45 days, if not 60 days. I guess they haven't taken my suggestion just yet.. confused

JanJ,

I got one out of three like I suspected.. yuck

Got Wishes which was on e thing we missed out on last year, when they first started doing the FP for that event... I wonder if East or West gardens are better viewing?? Anyone seen the Firework show from either or both gardens? Which had the better viewing? Thanks!!

I logged in at 1159 PM local (Disney time) and took all of 10 seconds to choose and both SDMT and FoF parade were both full up.. I suspect the 60 dayers sucked them up... I'll keep trying... I hear they release so many as the dates get closer.. We'll see!!! eek

Yes, keep trying, especially closer to your travel date. I watched Wishes last week from the East gardens and it was a good line of sight. I don't think you can go wrong with either side and you get to choose which side.

Okay, I was just wondering. Oh yeah that's a good savings for sure, But that's one of the perks of staying on property, the 60 window for FP's. We are AP holders too, but being we stay on property, that 30 day window does not effect us.
