ADR question

Do I need to make ADR's for every place we want to eat or just the special ones like La Cellier, etc? Will we be able to have lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern by walking up or do we make reservations? We will be going December 1-9 if that makes any difference. If we do make reservations what times are best?

ADRs are advisable, if not absolutely necessary, for most restaurants in the parks. Liberty Tree is pretty popular! It will be easier to walk up when you're going, but still, if you have certain places you really want to eat, best to guarantee a table by making an ADR. As for times, if you've got an ADR the time doesn't matter. If you don't, try eating before noon or in the middle of the afternoon.

I'd recommend getting ADRS for most T/S restaurants..As far as time goes, whatever suits you to fit in with your schedule and also what ever times are available ..

From past experience especially with Liberty Tree make ADRS. Two years ago we decided to wing it at lunch and didn't make any reservations except for dinner. We went in September which is a fairly slow time. Well we could not get in to any TS restaurant except Yak and Yeti. So now if I really want TS at lunch I book it.

I also wouldn't be willing to take the chance unless you are absolutely OK with a.) wandering around to lots of restaurants asking and/or b) giving up and eating at a quick service place.

You might be able to walk up, especially if you're only a group of two, but if you have your heart set on places I wouldn't risk it. Make the ADR and you can always cancel up until 24 hours in advance.

Without an ADR, you risk not getting to eat at the restaurant you want, at the time that you want or planned for, and on the day that you wish.

So it is a matter of how important it is for you to dine at a particular place at a particular time and day.

I always advise ADRs, it's so much better to know you have someplace to eat rather than wandering around aimlessly or having to wait hours to get in at a table.
