Any rides you don't agree on?

Who has rides that YOU want to ride, but your traveling companion DOESN'T -- and how do you solve that? (or vice versa)

Does one person go on the ride and the other goes shopping? Do you both walk through the line and one takes the chicken exit?

There are a few that MrHub loves that I do not care much for. He uses the single rider line and I just sit and wait for him or run into a gift shop. Usually it does not take long for him to get on so I just end up waiting for him.

The only one we discuss heatedly is Mission:Space.
I love the full motion experience but every once and awhile I just want to ride the wimpy side..and he doesn't..so we split up. I hate splitting up though..it's way more fun to ride with him.

That pretty well sums it up, I ride, she shops.

We don't always agree on tower of terror or rock n roller coaster. Sometimes dw goes thru the line with me and takes the chicken exit.

We usually agree on most of the rides, but every once in a while I have to forego the orange side of Mission Space!

Also, interestingly, we sometimes disagree because one of us wants to ride something EVERY trip, and the other one wants to skip it from time to time (Test Track, Philharmagic, etc.)

I am a bit of a wiener and I'll admit it, my DH always goes on all my choices but I usually end up talking the pictures as he goes on with other thrill-minded friends or family.

Which ones hit the thrill line cut off? Presumably Tower of Terror and RnRC? How about Splash Mountain?

Splash Mountain I can do, next trip I am going to try Space Mountain and maybe EE, and the chill side of Mission Space. LOL

Space Mountain isn't very scary at all, just kind of fun. If you're looking to try something new that's probably the most tame one in my opinion. Don't let the darkness fool you, none of the drops are very big.

I'm always surprised by how no one finds Splash Mountain intimidating. I think the final drop is one of the scarier things on property.

In fact I started a thread on it:

There are a few rides he likes that I don't care for. If he goes for Space Mountain for a 2nd time, I skip out. Same with TOT.

I love the Living with the Land and he doesn't!

I TOTALLY agree with this. In fact, since I haven't done Splash Mountain for a few years, I find that drop to be a little daunting. I better saddle back up before I turn into a complete wimp!

Now that I've done my one turn on ToT and RnRC, DH is on his own if he wants to ride them again. As we've discussed, I still need to do Everest and Mission Space. They're on my to do list as soon as I get the passes back!

We agree and go one everything together but the tea cups! Ever since having kids, I cannot take spinning rides, and of course the kids spin or want spun as fast as they can, makes me sick just watching. Luckily the kids don't ask for the carousel anymore. I also don't care for Primevial Whirl, will do it but would rather pass.
Mount Everest is a must, best ride of all imo!

Lucky for us it works out perfectly. My oldest daughter and I will ride anything while my wife and youngest daughter don't ride anything but the tame rides. Since two of us will ride any we will do the ones my wife and other daughter wants usually one time then we go for the action. I have learned not to push them into anything they don't want to ride and it seems to work.

I've never really thought about it til now, but I don't think there's a ride that Daniel and I disagree on. There's a couple(it's a small world comes to mind) that I want to ride at least once, just so I'll eventually be able to say I've ridden everything at Disney World that he isn't the biggest fan of, but he rides them with me anyway because he knows it makes me happy. We don't like to be apart, so when we're at Disney we spend every possible second together.

My two friends and I agreed on most rides. There were a couple of rides my friends went on last year that I didn't want to (Splash Mountain and ToT). I just sat and waited.

I love Tower of Terror - it freaks Mr. Arb out, since the car moves forward, THEN drops. He'd be fine if it just went up and down, but since it moves other directions, he's not a fan. So he usually take the time to sit and wait for me while I go on. He has to be in the right mood for Splash Mountain, too.

Give me a roller coaster with lots of twists, turns and loops and I'm a happy girl. I don't like the straight drop down.
