Anyone been to New Orleans?

Not Orlando/Disney related but I didn't know who else to ask!

It's a place on my bucket list, think of flying over next year while we are in the Orlando area and staying for a few days.

Anyone been?

Yes! It is so much fun clapping You have to hit up the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The nightlife, music and food are incredible. There is an energy in that city that is so exciting! Take a Trolley tour through the Garden homes district..... gorgeous architecture everywhere! You can even tour some off the Mardi Gras warehouses and see some of the floats. Oh and Pat O'Brian's....best Hurricane ever! awesome

Yes!!! Love New Orleans. We always stay at a bed and breakfast in the French quarter. The food is so good and lots to do. Great nightlife and who can pass up a hurricane! biggrin

I've been to New Orleans once. While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I don't feel the need to go back. The food was fantastic. The nightlife was exciting. But it has a very distinct aroma that I couldn't get used to, and it felt like the panhandling capital of the world.

I love New Orleans! I was only there for two days (before and after a cruise) and I had a marvelous time. We did walking tours of the French Quarter and toured the Laura Plantation. I really want to go back!
