Anyone buy the new iPad?

So... For my birthday I was gonna get an iPad 2 because I didn't really need all of the fancy new things the new iPad had to offer. Plus it was about all I could afford because I at least wanted a 32 gig. Well... After some crunching and realized something... I went to SAMs Club and bought myself the new iPad with 32 gigs and white! The reason I wanted a second one was because my daughter has literally taken over the older one. I mean literally... It gets covered in something.... Lol! Plus I use my iPad for band practice. I use it for reading music at church and such. Makes my life so much easier. So anyways...

Jumping from the first iPad to this was like when I jumped from my iPhone 3G to the iPhone 4. The speed on this thing is amazing! Surfing the net is like being on the computer now. I always felt the iPad with safari just didn't cut it. Crashes after 3-5 tabs open and it won't remember the place and reload the page. This sucker is awesomely silk! I've had no crashing problems. I actually love it so much that I use it for my music in the car. Spotify it up or listen to my local tracks. I can't wait to take this to Disney!

Enough of me endorsing this... Anyone else grab one? Btw.... I've used this all day...and 31% of battery is still left!

Not here. Still using my ipad (original). And loving it.

Disney apps. (Of course)
LOVE using it for astronomy.
Music in the car, shower, at the spa (with headphones, of course! - spa police - )
Photo editing.

What do you do with it for band practice? I have a few music apps for various things.

My hubby has iPad, DD Tori has an iPad 2 and we love them both so much!

That jump on the phone from 3 to 4 was HUGE, I didn't notice it as much on the iPad.

I put my chord music on it. So I don't have multiple pages... I just swipe to and from what song we play. Makes my life simple up there... Lol

Jeff... iPads rock... You can use it as a scrabble board and if you have either an iPhone or iPod Touch... That would hold your tiles! It's the little things that make it fun!

Kristen... Have you tried the new iPad? Hate calling it that when we all know it's the iPad 3.

I have an iPad 3 (I totally call it that - haha). I probably could have gotten away with an iPad 2, but I waited until the new one came out, so I figured I may as well (they were about the same price at the time anyways). My boyfriend had an iPad 2 (he also bought an iPad 3) and before he sold it we were comparing the two. When you hold them side by side you can definitely tell that the screen resolution is better (the images are crisper, the colors brighter, etc). However, other than that, I don't think there is much difference.

However, I do LOOOOVE my iPad! I don't think I could go back to the days without it. I am officially hooked.

I should also mention that within the last year I have purchase an iPod Touch, then I got an iPhone for work and now I have an iPad. I am iHooked, I guess!

Oh, no we have an original and a 2. I haven't even played with the 3 because I knew I couldn't buy it. No need to tempt myself.

It's funny. I'm at work today, and forgot my MacBook at home, but remembered my iPad. That to me is funny... But the sad thing is... My iPad is able to do everything here at work. I could just come here to work and just use my iPad... Lol.

I love mine to be honest. When it comes to laptops... I will for now on go with MacBooks. The battery life on them is just amazing. I could go all day with managing the LCD brightness and get full use out of it. Let alone... they play much better with the iPhone and iPads... lol

I'm on my second MacBook Pro and I LOVE it! I always laugh at my room mate who uses windows on his laptop. At one point he said to me "Kristen, computers don't just work, you have to fuss with them" LoL... not my MacBook! I turn it on and it simply works. No fuss, no blue screen of death, no problems, ever. Macs just work, that's all there is to it!

I love the feature of just closing the lid, and letting it hibernate. I know it uses battery... but man. Just opening up the lid and BAM... your already on your laptop...! I love it!
