Baby Exchange

Our Disnymoon has turned into a family trip. It will be our DD first trip. She will be 2 in Feb and loves Mickey and the whole fab 5 and also knows all the princess by name. We just said we would feel bad if did not take her. So my question does park still do child exchange?

I know they do at Universal, I don't recall if Disney does. I'm sure someone else will know the answer though.

oh so cute! 2 will be so much fun! Don't forget to stop by the barber shop
when you enter the magic kingdom and get your free pixie dust-
aka glitter sprinkles- on her head wink

Yes, Disney does do a parent/baby swap.

Is the baby swap any different now with the Magic Bands, since they scan them? Didn't know how that works......

Yes they still do the rider/child swap for the attractions with height requirements. I think they still use the paper rider switch for now. Not sure if they can do it on the magicbands.

What do you want to swap her for? Personally I like puppies...

I think kitties or horses would be better. laugh I tried swapping and it wouldn't work. They wouldn't swap my baby for Captain Jack Sparrow. Darn.

I never knew Disney did that. Interesting fact to know.

When I worked at Universal, it was a common recurring joke with parents. The most common question/joke was "If we don't like our kids, can we trade for the nice quiet ones?" I always offered them to exchange them for a Hippogriff egg (I worked in Potter <_< ).

Yep Disney do it.
In DL Paris it's not just for rides with height restrictions, our toddler was out cold in the stroller so they let us babyswitch on Peter Pan, and our son is terrified of the Snow White Scary Adventures ride so they let us babyswitch on that too, though we were there at a quiet time and no long queues, we didn't ask they offered it. THey might not have offered it if it has been really busy.
