Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon

For our upcoming trip in October, we are planning on going to both water parks on property (luckily we arrive the morning of October 22nd so we can make the last day Blizzard Beach is open before it closes for maintenance)

While we've been to Disney World multiple times, somehow we've never gone to either water park. Any tips or important things to know about the water parks? Since we fly in the morning of the 22nd, its likely we won't get to BB until around noon - 1pm. I'm a little nervous about finding chairs that late in the day.

I'm especially excited about BB. Hopefully the weather cooperates Wink

Wish I could help but I've never been either. We talked about going last week but it didn't quite fit into the plans.

We've enjoyed both water parks. Typhoon Lagoon has a way bigger wave pool but Blizzard Beach has bigger slides. I really like the tobaggan racers at Blizzard Beach. Both have lazy rivers which are great for relaxing. I don't think you'll have a problem finding chairs in October. You might not get the best chairs/area but there are tons of them around the park.

Great! Thanks for the input. Lazy Rivers sound right up my alley
