Boardwalk Villas online check in options

Can anyone tell me about the online check in options for BWV? We are in a 2 bedroom with a garden/pool view.

I know the elevators are all in one location, which can be quite a walk. But how far is the walk? Is it far enough to worry about? I will have my big ole sit/stand Mia Moda stroller, but I don't intend on going to & from the resort multiple times a day. Probably just he AM to leave and PM when we return, most days. Is there a bonus to requesting ground floor here? I was thinking no ground floor just so we can look over the pool or garden or Swolphin or whatever, a better view of the area. I am assuming that there are stairs, we are not opposed to carrying the stroller upstairs.

I want to present the options to my Husband, parents and Aunt before I actually do the online check in. I am trying really hard to not make this all about me, and to be considerate of others' opinions. wink I am still quite a ways out, I know. But it is hard to get everyones opinion quickly because we are scattered between Atlanta, Sacramento and San Diego.

Since this is my first stay at BWV, I was wondering what options are listed and which two options are the best? Don't you get to pick two?

I haven't stayed at BWV so I can't offer much help. Sorry.

We were just there staying in the deluxe studio with pool and/or garden view.

I took the advice of the majority and when checking in online, checked that I wanted a room close to the lobby and elevators. I honestly didn't care what floor. I am glad we were on the fourth floor now because we had a bird's eye view of the fireworks each night from HS. We got our request and were the second room on the left as you come off the elevators. I never actually walked down that long hallway, but I can tell you that it went on and on and on and on....for what seemed like a mile! I actually heard people complaining about it when we would leave our room each morning and they would pass us...lol

We had a view of the pool that was sorta blocked by a tree, but that's ok because we never really sat out there...

Good luck! Our room was ready at 10AM when we arrived too and we were able to check in! Smile

FANTASTIC! Thanks so much!!! It would be great to get a room that could catch some fireworks! I was kind of thinking that higher might be better.

Very cool that you can request a room close to the lobby and elevators. Sounds like it is worth it!

BW is my "Home" property and I can share from a number of experiences that you definitely want to request a room near an elevator. After coming home from a long day at the Parks, it was not pleasant to trudge down one hall segment after another... gaah

On my one stay at BW I was lucky enough to be placed near the elevators (which I did not need because I was on the first floor) but I appreciated NOT having those long trips down the hallway at night.

We will see what happens for us in July. We are staying at BWV for the first half of the trip then switching to Contemporary. We stayed there once before, but we were the last room on the ground floor behind the Clown Pool. Really I don't remember it being a problem or a really for walk. There are so many doors to get into the building your never far from and exit/entrance.

I asked for an upper floor, and hopefully en Epcot view. But since I have a "standard view," that could anything. I really don't care, though - I will be at WDW!

Thanks everybody! I SOOOOOO do appreciate it! I really like all of the opinions!!

My parents say it will be their last trip and my Aunt usually has a DL AP, but this is her 1st trip to WDW. Possibly her only trip. My Dad has a bad hip and goes outside to smoke constantly. I want to make it as perfect as possible for them all, and fairly easy for my Dad.
