The British Pound Versus The American Dollar..

Just a quickie here for UK travellers..On our last trip in 2012. We decided to gamble on charging almost 90% of our food/souviners etc, onto our Key/Card..When I went to pay on the last day with my visa,we got a great rate, much better than I was expecting..In fact when we got home,I checked the rates and I reckon we were at least four cents to the pound better off..Just a quick tip in case you were thinking of taking lots of dollars..

The best tip would be to get a halifax clarity card, near perfect exchange rates and no fees. We don't go without it.
