We sign up for all of the offsite restaurants, and give them our trip dates as our birthday's, that way we get 'birthday' offers so use while we're there.

Are you staying in a DVC villa? If so eating a lot of your meals in would save a good deal of money.

We are indeed in a Villa. I'm thinking that I may need to cook while I'm there, that probably will save us a lot of money. Breakfast food is fairly inexpensive, and Disneyland is small enough that we can head back to the room for lunch without too much fuss. There's a Super Target about 2 miles from Disneyland. Someone told me that Vons Delivers. I'm sure I can cut the budget.

I'm planning on bringing coffee, tea, and crystal light mixes. We'll be carrying a water bottle with us and not drinking soda should save us $15 a meal x 3 meals a day x 6 days = $270!! I'm sure my kids will complain but that's more than pocket change. And, we'll stay well hydrated that way.

Also, if they are absolutely dying for a soda, you could get some of the small bottles or cans from the grocery store and keep them in your room. You'd still cut lots of money out. We always do that.

Another thing we always do is when we eat at CS restaurants, we always only order one meal because we can never finish one by ourselves anyways. And that way we have a little extra to get a snack later AND we're not absolutely stuffed from one meal and not wanting to eat another meal later or ride rides on a full stomach.

A friend in California told me today that Plaza Inn, Rancho del Zocalo, and French Market have large portions in Disneyland, and that we can get a whole Pizza at the Pizza Port. Also Plaza, Rancho, and Pizza Port have free refills on drinks and that you can ask for a "To Go" cup. So if I have to have a diet coke, that's a good option.

I always carry my own water bottle on trips. You can get ones with filters now. I also bring my own snacks. I tend to pack food so that I have room for souvenirs on the way back as well.

You can also use MouseHouseConcierge.com. They'll deliver any supermarket-type items you need...I'm gonna get a couple cases of bottled water for us so we don't spend a fortune for em in the parks...
